A Passage To India?

Anglophone Curry Lunch – Wednesday March 21st

We may not have physically taken the journey to the Indian subcontinent and E.M Forsters days of the Raj, but a taste of India definitely came to rural France on March 21st.

Chez Miller opened its door to guests eager for a spicy repast.  The taste buds were first  tempted by popadums and chutney served with an onion,cucumber and coriander relish.
The committee then produced an array of both meat and vegetarian curries.  All the dishes were really tasty and none fitted into the “it ain’t half hot mum” category so everyone could partake without risk!

Even after seconds, people found room to choose from a selection of desserts: trifle being a firm favourite; not very indian I know!
As Gupter the engine driver in North West Frontier might say, “A jolly fine meal Saab!
