Our first walk of 2020 is on Tuesday 23 June at Montmartin sur Mer Plage. Voted in 2019 by readers of The Guardian as one of the top 5 beaches in France and one of the top 40 in the world. Starting with views out to sea, we head through the fields towards La Pointe de Montmartin, with views over to Régneville and its chateau. Our final walk of this rather unusual season is on Monday 27 July. It is at Gouville sur Mer, and we plan a picnic lunch on the beach. High tide is at lunchtime if anyone fancies a swim. Meet at 10.30 at Gouville Plage. The car park is accessed from the D650 Route Touristique, turning left at the Gouville roundabout if heading from the south, right if coming from the north. Dear Member, on Thursday August 27th you have the opportunity to enjoy a picnic and afterwards have fun together playing mini golf. All in the open air! Our first walk of the autumn is on Wednesday 30 September. It's an easy walk exploring the open heathland and forests between Lessay and Périers, giving long distance views over the woods and towards the Lac des Bruyères. It is entirely either on tracks or through woods, and therefore ideal for dogs. Please let us now by Tuesday 29 September if you want to take part and send your name via email.

Cause of the Covid-19 lockdown the event is postponed!! The next Anglophone walk is on Monday 9 November, at Orval. The walk begins with extensive views over Hyenville and Quettreville, then descends to the River Sienne. There are glimpses of the Manoir and le Pont Neuf.
