On a thankfully dry day, ten Anglophones and two dogs set off for a walk from the church at Montchaton. 
We all admired the views of Coutances and the surrounding countryside and enjoyed the quiet country lanes including one called ‘rue des Anglais’!
After a pleasant walk of just over an hour, we were then joined by four more Anglos for lunch at the Sans sous…ci Restaurant.
The menu was good with several choices for each course and we were all able to tuck into a very satisfying meal.
